Compacted runway is paved with the elastic layer of permeable runway 8-9mm, the surface layer with EPDM adhesive particles paved 4-5mm, paving method is the same as the elastic layer, this process is simple to construct, but the surface layer is relatively flat, and is generally not adopted.

Acceptance methods and criteria
Colors:
Colors shall be substantially uniform in all areas, and multi-colored designs of the track shall be non-glaring and not cause confusion in related competition events.
Surface quality:
The surface material is not degraded and is free of cracks, delamination and bulging.
Flatness:
Tolerance of 3 meters straightedge at any position is not more than 3mm.
Thickness:
The thickness of the runway area must be within 13mm±2mm, with a pass rate of 90% or more. Any position of the runway shall not be less than 9mm, thickening area (such as pole vault, javelin, long jump starting track, high jump thickening area) should be greater than 18mm. thickness of auxiliary area should be more than 9mm.
Drainage:
The runway should have a slope of about 8‰ from the outside to the inside, and be able to ensure that the site is basically free of water for about 40 minutes after a rain.
